Although it will be hard to say goodbye to free accommodation and kittens at Romain’s, we’ve booked a train to the little french town of Bayonne for tomorrow morning. Five hours southwest of Paris; it’s the unofficial capital of Basque country. Near the border between France and Spain it’s a region where the two languages and cultures merge. It’ll be nice to get away from big cities for a change and it’s close to Barcelona and the impending Primavera Festival.
