Arrived in Greece after the craziest boat ride ever… I guess it’s still the low season, because there were about 20 passengers aboard this luxury ferry liner we took from Brindisi to Patras. There was even a swimming pool! Wendy and I kind of half-expected to come ashore in Northern Africa and be sold into slavery/murdered for our organs.
Seriously… it was the nautical version of The Shining.
Anyway, we’re en route to Athens for a few days before heading to the island of Santorini for a few nights next to black sand beaches and volcanic cliffs.
